Can't move or lift arm past 90 degrees? Is there a sore area in the very front of the shoulder about a half inch around? Back pain near or under the shoulder blade? How about pain on top of the shoulder blade or closer to the neck? Any pain along the collar bone, or perhaps along the outside of the shoulder blade? Do you have any pain on rotation?
These are the many areas of the shoulder that can present with pain and all still be named shoulder pain. Luckily for you, I treat many of the causes of shoulder pain. I use a combination of techniques, deep massage moves, stretches and extremity chiropractic to manipulate and adjust the joints back into alignment. Chiropractic shoulder manipulation is an art, I have over 10 shoulder area manipulations that I use depending on the conditions or issues a person maybe dealing with more than just the 1-2 moves that most DCs use). Next we dish out soft tissue release (medical sports massage techniques) and do some muscle stripping and trigger point to any one of a number of muscles that may be conjoined with your shoulder problem. Pec major, minor, deltoid, infraspinatis, supraspinatis, subscapularis, teres minor, lats, traps, levator scapula, and so on down the line goes the menu of possible culprits. Occasionally we pull out the Chinese cups , or even some Guasha techniques. Lastly you will be given stretches and exercises for your condition. These is to rebuild and to stabilize the area. Occasionally I recommend postural techniques if we find that is an issue as well.
The vast majority of these shoulder problems clear up quickly 1-5 visits. Give us a call and let's get that shoulder taken care of, no need to wait any longer!
